That famous food and drink festival is back once again! Taste Of Cayman happens on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from 5 pm to 11:55 pm at the Camana Bay Festival Field in Camana Bay on Grand Cayman. As always, it is a festival not to be missed by locals and tourists alike. The event is about to celebrate its 31st year and attracts some 4,000 attendees who flock to sample cuisine and drinks from our tropical island’s best restaurants.
Fare From 36 Restaurants
What was once a small ‘80s festival featuring a few restaurants has blossomed into a huge affair featuring 36 of the island’s most amazing establishments. In addition to enjoying fare from fabulous restaurants, you will sip international wines, beers, and liquors. Many of the restaurants participating in Taste Of Cayman set up tables and chairs near their booths so attendees can sit and digest their food in comfort.
Cooking Demonstrations & Competitions
The island’s best chefs roll up their sleeves to show attendees cooking demonstrations they won’t soon forget. Taste Of Cayman includes a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen so festival goers can marvel at the chefs doing what they do best.
Plenty of competitions also happen at this renowned festival, including heavy cake and mixologist competitions. Area bakers try to one-up each other as they craft delectable heavy cakes, also known as Grand Cayman’s unofficial staple dish. Cakes from finalists will be available for tasting. The live cocktail competition brings together the island’s most skilled bartenders and mixologists to compete and see who crafts the most delightful alcoholic beverage.
Secret judges will also be on hand to deliver prizes for the Best Booth, Best Drink, Best Food, and more.

Feel the beat of the rhythm of the night as you dance to tunes from the island’s best live bands. Tribute entertainers, as well as local musicians, will put on a show that will keep you light on your feet for weeks afterward.
