July Summer Events In Camana Bay

July in Camana Bay will be filled with thrills for kids’ and nighttime movies to art displays and fresh farmers market eats.

Camana Bay is a lively waterfront village on Grand Cayman, just minutes from South Bay Beach Club. It’s our island’s version of a small town and it comprises 685 master-planned acres of shops, restaurants and gathering spaces.

The mixed-use community promotes connectivity, walkability, diversity, and sustainability through beautiful and thoughtful design as well as regular events that take place throughout the year.

This July, residents, and tourists will enjoy:

Farmers & Artisans Market (Every Wednesday)

Head to The Paseo in Camana Bay on a Wednesday, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., to discover an array of local purveyors of fruits, vegetables, farm goods and handcrafted items. The weekly market also features live entertainment, art displays, and cultural activities.

Open Canvas (Every Wednesday)

Every Wednesday in July in Camana Bay, Open Canvas provides a venue for local artists to display their work to the public. They come together to reveal their latest creations, and many of the artisans paint new pieces right at the venue. Watch art come to life at Open Canvas, which takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Camana Bay Cinema’s Kids Club (Saturday, July 7)

On Saturday, July 11, kids and adults can enjoy a classic family-friendly movie with softer sound and brighter lights, perfect for little ones and their older companions. Tickets to the Camana Bay Cinema’s Kids Club at Camana Bay Cinema on the 11th are CI$15 per person and Cars 2 (PG) is the scheduled film (subject to change).

Culture at the Cinema (Saturday, July 21)

Culture at the Cinema is a series of films screened at Camana Bay Cinema. On Saturday, July 21, Macbeth is the movie of choice and it begins promptly at 8 p.m. Culture at the Cinema is an 18-years-and-over event. Tickets are available at the Camana Bay Cinema box office.

Getting to Camana Bay

To get to Camana Bay from South Bay Beach Club and Seven Mile Beach, just follow the footpath sights that sit along West Bay Road. You’ll go up and over The Rise, a pedestrian walkway, and then straight into The Paseo in Camana Bay’s Town Centre.
